School Uniform

All school children are expected to wear uniform each day and we ask that parents support us in maintaining our children's high standards of uniform and presentation. Children in the Nursery are not required to wear school uniform but many do choose to wear a school sweatshirt and/or polo shirt.

Boys

Bottle green sweatshirt

Yellow polo shirt

Grey or black trousers (smart grey or black tailored shorts in summer)                                                   

Black shoes or trainers (trainers must be black or very nearly black)

Plain socks

Girls

Bottle green sweatshirt or cardigan

Yellow polo shirt

Grey or black trousers or skirt (smart grey or black tailored shorts in summer)

Green gingham dress (in summer)

Flat, lowed heeled black shoes or boots (trainers must be black or very nearly black)

White sandals in summer

Plain socks or tights (white/grey/black/green only please, no patterned tights)

All children should also bring a hat to school to wear during summer months.   

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED:

Fashion wear in general (such as Ugg type boots, leggings, brightly coloured / patterned tights, t-shirts with pictures/logos or short skirts)

Fashion trainers

Nail varnish or jewellery (other than small stud earrings and a watch)          

Full tracksuits (except for PE)

GAMES & PE KIT 

Plain shorts, plain t-shirt and plimsolls/lightweight trainers.

 (Younger pupils should wear slip-on plimsolls)

Outdoor games     Shorts, t-shirt/sweatshirt, warm jumper or tracksuit,

         Sturdy trainers with good grip.

ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT MUST BE CLEARLY LABELLED.

Please could we ask that all PE kit comes to school in a drawstring bag and stays in school all week; our cloakrooms are very cramped and rucksacks take up too much space on the pegs.

Coats and sweatshirts continually fall on the floor because of the size of the children’s bags; children in classes R to 4 only need to bring their book bag (and lunchbox) into school each day. Please do not send them with any other school bag.
