Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
Required as soon as possible, temporary contract until the end of July 2025, in the first instance.
8.30am – 12.30pm, five days a week, term time.
Hourly rate £12.18 – £12.38
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic early years teaching assistant to join our staff team.
We are looking for someone who;
· Holds level three Early Years Practitioner qualification
· Has proven, recent experience of working in an early years setting
· Has a passion and enthusiasm for working in the early years and key stage one with a commitment to enabling every child to achieve their potential.
· Has a positive ‘can do attitude’ and is able to maintain high standards of care and support for our children.
· Has good literacy (both written and verbal) and numeracy skills.
· Is able to establish positive relationships with children and encourage independence.
· Is a nurturing, calm and forward looking individual.
· Is able to work as a member of a team and under own initiative to provide the best possible provision for our children.
Key Stage One Classroom assistant with MSA duties
Required 18th November 2024
8.30am – 12.45pm, five days a week, term time plus one week.
17 hours and 45 minutes Teaching Assistant duties (£12.18 to £12.38 per hour)
2 hours and 30 minutes Midday Supervisor per week (£11.59 per hour)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our staff team. The post involves providing general support within the classroom to individuals and groups of children, delivering small group teaching as well as providing 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs.
We are looking for individuals that;
· Have proven, recent experience of working in an early years setting or within key stage one
· Have a passion and enthusiasm for working in the early years/key stage one with a commitment to enabling every child to achieve their potential.
· Have a positive ‘can do attitude’ and is able to maintain high standards of care and support for our children.
· Have good literacy (both written and verbal) and numeracy skills.
· Has experience of teaching phonics to groups of children
· Are able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of children on the autistic spectrum and how best to meet their needs
· Are able to establish positive relationships with children and encourage independence.
· Are nurturing, calm and forward thinking.
· Are able to work as a member of a team and under own initiative to provide the best possible provision for our children.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Required as soon as possible
8.30am – 3.30pm, five days a week (30 hours per week), term time plus one week.
Scale F. Hourly rate £13.69 - £14.91
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic higher level teaching assistant to join our staff team. This role will also involve supporting teaching and learning in lessons, leading intervention groups, covering PPA time and occasional staff absence across the school. The ability to teach PE across the primary age range would be an advantage but is not essential.
We are looking for someone who;
· Has proven successful experience of working in Key Stage Two as a higher level teaching assistant or similar role.
· Has an enthusiasm for learning and enabling every child to achieve their potential and to make learning engaging
· Has a positive ‘can do attitude’ and is able to set clear, firm expectations for behaviour
· Has excellent literacy (both written and verbal), numeracy and IT skills
· Is able to establish relationships with children (and adults) and encourage independence
· Is a nurturing, calm and forward looking individual
· Is able to work as a member of a team and under own initiative to support learning

4 pm – 6pm, Monday to Friday
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is conscientious and hardworking.
Duties will include:

The successful applicant will be expected to share the school’s commitment to safeguarding of our children and will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosures and Barring Service check.
