School Cleaner (Two posts)

Hourly rate: £11.59
10 hours per week, term time plus four weeks during the school holidays.
4 pm – 6pm, Monday to Friday
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is conscientious and hardworking.
Duties will include:
Please note that working hours may be subject to variation to work around school events and additional hours during the school holidays.
The successful applicant will be expected to share the school’s commitment to safeguarding of our children and will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosures and Barring Service check.
We can only accept applications using the Norfolk County Council application form and require two professional referees.

Before and After School Play Worker
Required as soon as possible
Hourly rate: £11.98
Hours per week (term time only); Monday to Friday 7.35am – 8.55am, Thursday and Friday 3.10pm – 5.30pm
We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and friendly person to join ‘The Den’, our before and after school club. You will be working alongside the Play Leader in planning, setting up and supervising activities, preparing snacks for the children and ensuring that the Den is a safe and clean environment. The successful applicant will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 in play work or child care qualification (or equivalent). We would consider applications from candidates who wish to apply for just the before school or after school hours (as two separate roles).
We are an equal opportunities employer. The successful applicant will be expected to share the school’s commitment to the safeguarding of our children and will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
Two professional, independent references will be required.
