Nursery

 

Our Nursery provides a bright, attractive and safe environment where children can learn through a wide range of adult-led and child initiated activities.  We have an extensive range of equipment and resources to suit the needs of all pre-school pupils and an enclosed outside play area.  Our nursery staff ensure that careful planning and appropriate activities provide a rich curriculum designed to enable each child to gain the maximum benefit from their nursery experiences.  We aim to provide them with the skills needed to make a confident start when they move on to the next stage of their education. 

Parents can claim to use their child's entitlement of 15 hours early years provision to attend our Nursery, alternatively there is a charge per session (for more information please contact the office). There is also a small voluntary charge to cover the cost of a mid-morning snack and drink.

Children attend our nursery the term after they are three years old (or as soon as they are three if parents pay for sessions or are entitled to two year old funding).  We offer 5 morning sessions each week, with a maximum of 26 children able to attend each session. 

Our Nursery is taught by Mrs Wallace, who is supported by Mrs Azevedo
