Ofsted inspection 

The school was inspected under Section 8 of the Education Act on the 5th and 6th October 2021. This was a short, focused inspection focusing on the quality of education and safeguarding. The outcome of the inspection was that we continue to be a 'good school'.

During the inspection, we were pleased that the team could clearly see the school’s caring and nurturing ethos and they were extremely complimentary about all the children that they met and worked with. The team were also recognised the dedication and strength of our staff team and were appreciative of the transparent and open way that everyone engaged with the inspection process.

The school is already working on the two main areas for improvement identified in the report and we are confident that we can rapidly address these, whilst continuing to strive to provide our children with the very best education. 

The school's last full (Section 5) inspection by Ofsted was on the 19th and 20th October 2016; we were judged to be a 'good' school overall and 'good' for each area of the inspection schedule. Click here to read a copy of our Ofsted report.
