Ofsted inspection 

The school was inspected under Section 5 of the Education Act on the 22nd and 23rd of November 2022.  The outcome of the inspection was that we continue to be a 'good school'.

During the inspection, we were pleased that the team could clearly see the school’s caring and nurturing ethos and they were extremely complimentary about all the children that they met and worked with. The team were also recognised the dedication and strength of our staff team.  

Some of the strengths recognised by Ofsted (November 2022) included:

• 'Pupils are proud of their school. Warm relationships between staff and pupils reassure pupils that they are safe and listened to.''Pupils say that the best things about this school are ‘teachers and friends’.
• 'Pupils are enthusiastic about learning. This is because they enjoy the way that teachers teach. Pupils find the topics they study in the new curriculum interesting. Teachers create a calm and orderly environment for pupils to learn in.'
• 'Pupils know and appreciate the way that everyone is different. They say that being different is a good thing at this school.'
