PTA News and Events
All parents, staff and friends of the school are automatically members of our PTA group. We have a group of dedicated and friendly committee members who work hard to put on a range of fun events (for children and adults) throughout the year to raise monies for school funds. Anyone is welcome to attend PTA meetings and any support to help run events (even for just an hour) is always appreciated.
In the past the PTA have hosted an impressive range of events including film nights, pupil discos, quiz nights, children's bingo, plant sales, summer fayre and recycling collections. In recent years monies raised by our fundraising group have been used to support class trips and visitors in school, purchase additional ipads, purchase books for classrooms and the school library, provide first aid training for pupils, purchase year six leaver's books, and to purchase new playground equipment.
